The Everlasting Kingdom

Isaiah 9:6,7, ‘For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and for ever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. The reign of the prince of deceit and lies, the prince of darkness is coming to an end and the everlasting reign of the Son of God is about to begin. When Jesus comes back, and He will, He will bring everlasting peace and purge sin from the presence of the saints. He has shown that He has the zeal to accomplish the will of the Father in Heaven. All the saints will live in harmony and justice and righteousness, worshipping and praising the Glorious God forever.

Aliens Of The Land

1 Peter 2:11,12, ‘Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. Live such good lives among pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us.’ In Christ we are new creatures, not of this world but of the world to come whereupon the Son of Man shall reign and purge sin from our midst and as we joyously wait for that time, we must continue to wait steadfastly, living like ambassadors of the Kingdom of God, abstaining from succumbing to our sinful nature that is dead to us, even though the Devil may tempt us and be examples to the world by our life and good deeds and through this bring glory to our God.

The Chosen People Of God

1 Peter 2:9,10, ‘But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.’ God has called us who believe in Christ into His family to be His sons and daughters. We belong to Him through Jesus and as faithful children we are supposed to honor Him with praise and worship for He us brought us out of the clutches of the Devil into His wonderful light that now shines in and through us so that we cannot remain hidden but testify to the world of His glorious love for man and His sweet promise to them that believe in Jesus Christ. We have received mercy for all our sins, not because we are righteous but as a gift from Him to bring us closer to Himself, by our faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Shaking The Unwanted Loose

Hebrews 12:25-29, ‘See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? At that time His voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken – that is, created things – so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” ’ You shake a rag that has dust to purge the dust from the rag and so it is with the second coming of Jesus where He shall shake both heaven and earth to purge the sinful and sin from the midst of the righteous so that those that will be present in the kingdom to come will be glorified and be from the presence of sin. Satan and the powers ...
