Hear Ye and Repent

Hebrews 10:26-29, ´If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who insulted the Spirit of grace? There is only one way that we can be sanctified from sin and its power and that is by allowing Jesus to be master in our lives, by subjugating our will to His. Our justification came from Jesus through the cross and the moment you hear of this and are convicted of your sins by the Holy Spirit, you have no excuse at all for continuing to live in bondage to sin. To be justified you must believe in Jesus and to reject Him is to reject the gift of forgiveness and eternal life that He is offering you. With this rejection you are still doomed to face the penalty of sin which is death. The cross was a gift from God by His Grace that we received without merit, when we were still His enemies, under the bondage and influence of sin, He crafted a divine plan for our salvation. It is such a shame how most of us refuse to be set free. Freedom is just within your grasp, the question is are you willing to take hold of it?
