Strength in God

Psalm 37:23-24 says, ´If the Lord delights in a man´s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumbles, he will not fall for the Lord upholds him with his hand.´ A powerful statement indeed. If you please God by accepting Him, trusting Him and following His commands, he will be faithful to us. He will give you the strength to continue in the path of righteousness and should you stumble by committing sin, God will give you opportunities to redeem yourself. How? By using others to bring you back to the fold. In the history of man, there is no one who exemplifies this like David. God was pleased with him and called him ´a man after his own heart´ but David stumbled many a times but God was faithful to Him and forgave him when he repented.

In God you find the ultimate power to overcome your sinful nature. We are able to overcome the temptations and traps laid by the devil for us. With God behind you who can be against you. You will become an overcomer and prevail under any circumstances.
