Who Are You For?

Exodus 32:26, ‘So he stood at the entrance to the camp and said, “Whoever is for the LORD, come to me.”…’ The call has been made and you have to make a choice, who are you for? You can no longer sit at the fence, hoping not to be noticed. There are only two sides to choose from, either you are of God the Most High or you are His enemy. Atheism and Agnosticism beliefs that posit the non existence or the lack of knowledge of the existence of God are all forms of rebelliousness against God. They are a form of self exaltation where the there is no higher being than the self. They only bring hopelessness, despair and selfishness. So where are you? Have you made your choice, are you aware of the consequences of your choice, are you willing to live with the consequences of your choice. If you decide not to choose whether to do something or not is the same as choosing not to do it. Dear brothers and sisters, I hope you have made your choice well. If you feel convicted in your heart enough and want to make the choice for God right now, if you want to live in the righteousness of Christ before God, repent of sins – repenting means to turn asks forgiveness for your sins, transgressions and iniquities and turn away from them – believe with your heart that Jesus is the Son of the living God, that He died on the cross for your sins and after three days He was resurrected by the power of the Spirit. And by the power of that Same Spirit you are now resurrected in spirit in Him. Find a bible based church that will help you in this glorious journey that you have undertaken.

God of the Heart

Mark 12:38-40, ‘As He taught Jesus said, “Watch out for the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and be greeted in the market places, and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at the banquets. They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. Such men will be punished most severely.’ God is a God of the heart. He sees and judges what our motives are rather than our outward appearances. As men, we can deceive each other, living well scripted lives that portray us to be one way, earning the praise and honor of men, but deep down we know the truth about ourselves, we can fool everyone and anyone but ourselves and God. We need to aspire to live like David, only for God. We need to put His purpose above ours. We need to live by His will and not ours. We need to be men and women after God’s hearts.
