Use your Time Wisely

Psalm 118:24, ‘This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.’ The fact that you are reading this is a cause for celebration because many would have wished to have been added more time, just enough to tell the ones they love how they feel, enough to ask for forgiveness from those they wronged, to do things differently but unfortunately for them, their time is up. But yours is not so rejoice and be glad that the Lord has allowed you one more minute, one more hour, one more day, to live. If you have not yet repented this is your time to repent, stop procrastinating and putting it off for you know not what tomorrow holds for you. Believer, rejoice that the Lord has given you more time to do the work that He has set before you, to win more souls to Christ, to share the good news that has transformed your life with the ignorant and the oppressed. Do not procrastinate for you shall be called to account for your time. You are here because the Lord willed you to be here, it is not by your own power that you are alive today but by the grace of the Almighty so boldly praise and worship Him.

Mark 12:38-40, ‘As He taught Jesus said, “Watch out for the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and be greeted in the market places, and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at the banquets. They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. Such men will be punished most severely.’ God is a God of the heart. He sees and judges what our motives are rather than our outward appearances.
