The Holy Spirit

John 14:17, ‘…the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him for He lives with you and will be in you.’ When we accept Jesus Christ in our lives by faith, a wonderful miracle happens, God resurrects our spirit and comes fills us with His Spirit – the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, making His home with us and what a joy it is to have Him in and with you! For he will always live in us, never leaving nor forsaking us. Then you can have all the confidence to do everything according to His will with the knowledge that He who is in us is greater than those that are in the world. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin so that we may repent of our sins and receive the forgiveness of God through Jesus Christ, of righteousness so that we may have the confidence to approach the throne of God through Christ who has clothed us with His righteousness and is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven interceding on our behalf and of judgment because the prince of this world – the Devil, stands defeated and condemned at the cross through Jesus Christ having lost all the power and dominion to Him. But for those of us that are still living as slaves to the world, slaves to sin and sinfulness, are dead in spirit and the Spirit of God cannot/ will not dwell in them because God hates sin and because of this they do not and are not able to know the Spirit of God, living in ignorance and under the clutches and dominion of the Devil, facing the risk of eternal death and separation from God. So for those of us that know the truth, go out and share the good news with those that still living in darkness so that they may be reborn and renewed in Jesus Christ and receive the Counsellor that will minister to them and reveal the truth about God to them.

God of the Heart

Mark 12:38-40, ‘As He taught Jesus said, “Watch out for the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and be greeted in the market places, and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at the banquets.
