The Way to Life

John 14:6, 7, ‘Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.’ If anyone wants to have eternal life then the only way to attain it is through and in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. God in His divine wisdom crafted a plan to redeem man from the bondage and slavery of sin through His Son, Jesus the Christ. In Christ, God punished all the sins of mankind to satisfy the justice of His divine law that dictates that the wages or just payment for sin is death and total separation from Him. Through Christ, we exchange our sinfulness for His righteousness, we exchange our weakness for His power and authority over the world and sin, we exchange our condemnation and guilt for His innocence, we become conquerors through Christ who strengthens us, we are victors in Him, claiming victory over sin in a battle that He fought for us, and we gain direct access to the Father having the confidence to stand before Him because we are clothed in the righteousness of Christ. We are nothing separate from Him and everything in and through Him. He and the Father are one for He is in the Father and the Father is in Him. To get to the Father, you have to believe in His Son whom He sent to die for us. Surrender to him as the Lord of your life, allow Him to minister to you the truth and you will get eternal life in Him.

Mark 12:38-40, ‘As He taught Jesus said, “Watch out for the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and be greeted in the market places, and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at the banquets. They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. Such men will be punished most severely.’ God is a God of the heart. He sees and judges what our motives are rather than our outward appearances. As men, we can deceive each other, living well scripted lives that portray us to be one way, earning the praise and honor of men, but deep down we know the truth about ourselves, we can fool everyone and anyone but ourselves and God.
