Who Do You Chose To Believe

Hebrews 12:1-3, ‘Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you do not grow weary and lose heart.’ As believers we know that the physical realm is not the only one in the world, but there are powerful and forces, both good and bad, in the spiritual realm that are watching us live our lives as we try to accomplish the purpose and will of God for our lives. The evil one, the great deceiver Satan, tries to dissuade us, divert us, confuse us, blind us so that we may lose our way in disobedience and rebellion to God’s will and not finish the race before us. The righteous one, the right hand of God, is cheering us on, encouraging us, guiding us, leading us, to the right path, giving us hope to hold on and not give up and carry on to fulfill God’s will. We have to a choice to make; who will we choose, who will we listen to, who will we find our strength and energy from, who will we believe. Will we believe the deceiver or the Righteous One from God, the Lamb of God that died for our sins and is risen, finishing His race and is glorified sitting at the right hand of the Father in Heaven and loving us, caring for us, building us up so that we are able to and shall finish our race.
